Take the following STEPS to prevent CO poisoning:
STEP 1:
GET A CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR FOR EVERY LEVEL OF YOUR HOME. Place them in the hallways outside of the bedroom(s) and at least 10' to 15 feet away from fuel burning appliances, garages and utility rooms.
STEP 2:
Have your fuel burning appliances checked and maintained yearly by certified professionals. They can check for faulty lines, wires, appropriate ventilation and recall notices.
